Innovation Leadership Belief-Challenger
.webp)
Leaders don't avoid innovation because they lack ideas but because of the beliefs sitting underneath.
The Belief-Challenger helps you surface, question and rewrite the belief that might hold you back.
Every leader carries beliefs about innovation that were formed by experience: some helpful, some limiting. This canvas walks you through three stages: first naming your current belief and the situation it shows up in, then finding the exceptions that prove it isn't the whole truth and finally translating that insight into a new, more empowering belief.
In the third part, you take the new belief into action with a concrete experiment and a support structure that helps it stick. Ideally, the result isa shift in how you personally relate to risk, failure and uncertainty.
Wie funktioniert diese Methode?
The Belief-Challenger works across three stages: The Present, Thinking Further and New Beliefs in Action.
In The Present, you identify a limiting belief about innovation, the concrete situation where it shows up (e.g. budgeting, performance reviews, strategic decisions, moments of pressure) and what the belief protects you from as well as how it limits you.
In Thinking Further, you look for exceptions (moments where the belief wasn't fully true) and imagine what would become possible if you let it go. From there, you draft a new belief and refine it into something short and memorable.
In New Beliefs in Action, you design a small, low-risk experiment to act on the new belief within two weeks and set up a support and reminder structure so the shift doesn't stay theoretical but follows you into the real world.
